Installation guide for SaeTheme WordPress themes, with safe dashboard, backup, and update practices.
Installation
General WordPress guidance that applies to SaeTheme products unless a product-specific guide says otherwise.
Install a SaeTheme ZIP
- Download the theme ZIP
Use the package from your SaeTheme Client Area. Do not unzip it before uploading unless the package documentation explicitly tells you to.
- Open Appearance → Themes
Choose Add New → Upload Theme, select the ZIP file, and start the installation.
- Activate the theme
After WordPress finishes installing the package, activate it and open the Customizer or theme setup page.
- Review the site
Check menus, widgets, homepage sections, images, and mobile navigation. Clear page/cache plugins after structural changes.
If dashboard upload fails
Check the PHP upload and post size limits provided by your hosting company. Advanced users may upload the extracted theme folder to wp-content/themes/ through SFTP or the hosting file manager, then activate it from WordPress.
